In-house White Goods Engineer | Available Hours: Full-time / Part-time

We are a leading retailer specialising in graded white goods, we stock over 4000 items for sale in a combined warehouse space of over 35,000sq. ft and sell a wide range of products from many different quality manufacturers. We sell brand new, end of line, graded and refurbished stock. The job role will involve working alongside our skilled in-house engineers repairing a full range of white goods including washers, dryers, range cookers, hobs, ovens and cooker hoods.

Good engineering experience is needed to help refurbish and repair and replenish stock delivered from the manufacturers to be made ready for sale to end consumers. The ability to work as part of a team will be essential and whilst the numbers of units are quite large this is an in-house position so there is no pressure to achieve a certain number of daily customer visits.

This job will involve moving stock around the warehouse so being fit and able will be necessary, often repairs will be quick cosmetic fixes for example replacing broken glass doors, replacing panels / fascia’s, handles etc. Although any candidate with in-depth knowledge of appliances and several years’ experience will be preferred, in-house training can be provided to suitable candidates.

The full-time working hours for this position are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday or part time hours can be arranged. We are based at South Wigston in Leicestershire and if you feel this is the job for you.. then we are looking forward to hearing from you.
